The Department of City Planning is in the process of initiating a new Retaining Wall Ordinance. City staff will be conducting some early public outreach meetings to obtain input from the individuals, groups and associations involved. They are working to create a database of photos that show a variety of retaining walls. If you have any photos of walls that you can share please email them to hillside@beverlyglen.org. If you happen to know any details about the wall (e.g., height) please include that in the email. In particular, please send photos of walls that you feel exploit the existing retaining wall ordinance.
