The Residents of Beverly Glen is pleased to say that its annual holiday party is back! To ensure everyone’s safety we’ll be gathering outdoors at the Les and Dorothy River Community Center. This is a potluck – please bring something to share.

As a friendly reminder, our annual holiday party is this Sunday, December 8. Join your neighbors and celebrate the holiday season at the LDRCC from 5:00 to 7:00. We’ll have wine courtesy of Westside Realty, delicious holiday food courtesy of *you* and fun activities for the kids.

Please also join the ROBG Board of Directors for its regular monthly meeting, Monday, December 9 at 7:30 p.m. Representatives from the LADWP Bel Air Power Upgrade Project will be there to share updates on the progress of the project. Other agenda items include an update on Map LA, the recent brush fire on Selkirk, and a traffic update. We hope to see you there!

Once again, our friends at Westside Realty Group will be hosting a wine tasting. And there will be a holiday movie for the kids, along with cookie decorating, so bring the whole family. It may be a bit chilly that evening, so break out your scarves and toboggans and join us for food, drinks and conversation.

A big thanks to all of you who came out last night to our annual Residents of Beverly Glen holiday party! A little rain and cool weather didn’t seem to dampen anyone’s spirits – we had a good turnout of friends old and some new, including many neighborhood children. A special thanks goes out to our neighborhood businesses for their generous contributions – to Beverly Glen Realty for yet another great wine tasting; to Beverly Glen Market for beverages; and to Fabrocini’s and Beverly Glen Deli for the delicious food donations. Our appreciation also goes out to all of you who contributed food and drink, and also to Jadon Gershon for compiling and playing a lively holiday soundtrack. The evening was a great success, and we hope to see more of you next year!

Tonight at 7:30 p.m. is the monthly Residents of Beverly Glen Board of Directors meeting. If you would like to come out and participate all are welcome. It’s that time of year again to celebrate the holidays tonight at 5pm-7pm at the Les and Dorothy River Community Center at 10409 Scenario Lane.

There will be plenty of time to mingle with friends and neighbors and sample delicious holiday fare. Food donations are
welcome for items that are festive for the holidays.

Beverly Glen Market has agreed to provide the non-alcoholic beverages and Beverly Glen Realty will continue its tradition of the wine tasting table.

There will be holiday movies for the kids and other crafty activities. Jadon Friedberg will entertain us at his DJ Booth. Shayne
Warnken and Noah Harris our local favorite musicians will be performing. We have another local musical duo “Punk Beat” (Declan Lightfoot and Alex Pitcher) that will perform prior to Shayne and Noah. Councilman Paul Koretz will also be in attendance.
