The fair is fast approaching and June 10th is right around the corner.

There are still opportunities available to showcase your art/talent or participate as a vendor. All vendors and organizations must bring their own tables, canopies, umbrellas, chairs etc. Your set-up must be contained in the space that you have been assigned. The standard single space is 10-feet wide. The spaces will be marked on the street pavement in chalk and will be given out on a first-come-first-served basis starting at 10am on Sunday June 10th. If you have special requests please submit them to fair@beverlyglen.org now. All vehicles must be removed from Beverly Glen Place by 11am to give time for the children’s parade to get organized and commence on time.

Remember to bring your own “Cash Register” so that you will be able to give change to buyers as there will be no official way to obtain change at the fair.

Looking forward to a fun day at the fair with fabulous friends, neighbors and weather,

Sharalee Flesche, Social Chair

Farm Fresh To You is interested in participating as a vendor in the event taking place on June 10th. Please let us know if you are accepting applications at this time.

Our representative will bring a beautiful display of Farm Fresh To You organic produce, have lots of information about healthy eating, sustainable agriculture and our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program of connecting the community directly to the farm by delivering high quality, organic produce fresh from the farm to the doorstep. We will not be selling or sampling; however, attendees who wish to join the service will receive a discount on their first delivery.

Thanks Victoria for the email. Generally the Fair is for local vendors to exhibit their art and crafts. However, we have recently worked with vendors that we think may interest our residents or preschool families. Being the Fair is a fundraiser for our community and particularly our preschool, we generally ask if vendors would be willing to donate some amount of what they raise towards these causes. We do know that Farm Fresh has generously donated some auction items the the preschool, Beverly Glen Playgroup so hopefully there is familiarity with our community. Plus, Playgroup is a non-profit so all donations are tax deductible.

If you think FFTY would be willing to do so, we already checked with our Social Chair and we should have room for an additional vendor. Note the vendor charge will still apply (believe its $35 or something). If this all works out, we would love to have FFTY be part of our Fair (we hope to attract 200+ residents this year).

You can contact our Social Chair at social@beverlyglen.org and feel free to copy us at website@beverlyglen.org. Thanks for the inquiry, hope this all works out as I know many of our older (and younger families) would love this service.

Also, if there is interest going forward, we have set up a corporate sponsorship program (http://beverlyglen.org/membership/corporate-sponsorships/) made up of local business and those that want to be a part of our quarterly newsletter that goes out to 600+ residents by mail (Glenite). Can see latest version at http://beverlyglen.org/news/information-for-all-residents/.
